THE COUNTRY DANCERS OF HAWAII

The
Country Dancers of Hawaii originated in 1982. This dance group is
consistently
in demand to perform and teach at various functions and events,
including the
50th State Fair, the Hawaii Professional Rodeo, Ho'olaulea, First
Night, Bayfest,
The Make Music Festival, the Molokai Ranch Rodeo, and
Paniolo Weekend at the Bishop Museum.
They have opened for local entertainers and entertainers on tour
in Hawaii
including The Wild Horse Saloon 1996 Dance Contest Tour, Scooter
Lee,
Loyal Garner, Johnny Lee, Charley Pride, and the Gatlin Brothers.
They have appeared on The Wild Horse Saloon in Nashville
and performed and taught on Good Morning Hawaii.
The group also performs at private parties, and serves the
community
by providing performances and dance instruction for charity
events,
fundraisers, nursing homes and hospitals.
The group consists of dancers who have been involved in country-western
music and dance for many years, people who have only recently
discovered the enjoyment of country western dancing,
and seasoned and experienced professional dancers and instructors.
