Hi there! Remember me?

It's hard to remember that I was ever that small! I turned a whole year old on June 20. I'm taller than either Scooch or Boogie now and weigh about the same amount. I've been through a basic obedience class (though you wouldn't know it most of the time!). Oh, and all those squeaky toys in that picture . . . well, let's just say they'll never do that again! I can find the squeaker in no time at all, and I just love spreading the stuffings everywhere!
I'm already an experienced traveller! Since my last report:
I went to Phoenix to visit family in January
I went to North Kansas City for the Wheaten Meetin' in March
I went to Arkansas in June for Daphne & Steve's wedding
Also in June, I went to Beardie Camp and passed my herding instinct test and learned about tracking.
This picture of me was taken at Beardie Camp, right after I'd shown those sheep that I was the boss of them! Most of the other dogs got cleaned up and brushed for their portraits, but not me! Mom & Dad said I can look handsome any time . . . they wanted me to look like I was at Beardie Camp for this picture! Since I'm not too crazy about baths and brushing (except when it's someone else's turn to get all that attention), I agreed with them!

I still love to get ice from the refrigerator door, but haven't quite figured out how to do it myself yet. One of these days, I will! Move your cursor over the box below to see me trying to figure it out!
I take my job of pre-cleaning the dishes very seriously. Good thing that door's strong!
At Beardie Camp, I took one look at those sheep and knew exactly what to do! Pretty soon, I'll be able to start visiting sheep every week! Wish they'd hurry up, but they say we have to move and get settled first. Guess I'll learn more about that later.

Scooch and Boogie get to go someplace without me every Tuesday. Mom says when the weather's cool enough to leave me in my crate in the car, I'll get to go too so I can start learning about being a therapy dog. She says I'm just too wild now, but someday, maybe . . .
Anyway, that's my report for now. Life is good! I'll be back later when I've got more news.
Wiggles, wags & Beardie hugs,
Shadow
